Itinerary
Day 1 Murchison Falls National Park
Depart from Kampala to begin the panoramic drive north-west. Make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary on route to Murchison Falls National Park. Ultimately, you will be witness to the most successful rhino breeding project in the world. Enjoy the sunset as we take our first game drive in Uganda’s Murchison Falls National Park while making our way to our accommodation.

Day 2 Murchison Falls National Park
We rise with the sun for our early game drive. Here we hope to find lions, leopard, elephants, buffalo, giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena and many more of Africa’s big game. Next, we take a boat safari upstream to the base of the falls, stopping just tens of metres from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. En-route, marvel at the hippos, crocodiles and possibly elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This is also home to many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork.

Day 3 Chimp tracking and depart
After breakfast we head off for a guided trek through Kaniyo Pabidi in Budongo Forest in search of man’s closest relative, the chimpanzee. Success rate of seeing them is 90% from May to September. Giant mahogany trees house Budongo’s 800 chimps. This is the largest population in the country. Additionally, the forest is home to black and white colobus, red-tailed monkey, blue monkey, and elephant-shrew. Furthermore, 465 plant, 366 bird and 250 butterfly species thrive in the forest. Finally, continue with our drive back to Kampala for early evening arrival.
