Itinerary
Day 1 Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Start your journey early to Bwindi through winding roads. On route you will ascend through the Kigezi Highlands. Prepare for the wildlife adventure of your life.
Day 2 Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Search for the gentle giants as you make your way through the gorilla sanctuary. Meeting these rare great apes will stay with you forever. It is a top world adventure wildlife experience.
Day 3 Queen Elizabeth National Park
Take in the volcanic scenery as you drive to the park. Marvel at the multitudes of wildlife. Watch for tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector of the park.
Day 4 Queen Elizabeth National Park
Pursue lions, leopards, elephants, warthogs, bushbucks, cape buffaloes and waterbucks on your morning game drive. A boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel will introduce you to, arguably, the highest concentration of hippos in Africa. Herds of elephants and bountiful bird life are sure to delight.
Day 5 Chimp trek and depart
Track chimpanzees today through the forest in Kyambura Gorge. In addition, you may spot other primate species that inhabit the park. They include black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, L’hoest guenon, vervet monkeys, and baboon. Finally, return to Kampala late afternoon via Fort Portal.
