Taste of Tanzania Tour – TT4
This Taste of Tanzania Tour itinerary will introduce you to the abundant wildlife. Witness the phenomenal display of The Great Migration during the months of November to June. Look out for the big five – rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard, as you gaze out over the vast plains on your Tanzanian safari. 4 days Arusha to Arusha.
Itinerary
Day 1 Ngorongoro Crater
The tour starts with lunch in Arusha town at 1230hrs. Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area, arriving in time for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2 Serengeti National Park
Today you will descend over 600 meters to the floor of the crater for a half day crater tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos, and the open savannah where the lions hunt. Lunch will be at the lodge before the drive to Serengeti National Park. A stop will be made at Olduvai Gorge, commonly referred to as “The Cradle of Mankind.” It is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world.

Day 3 Lake Manyara National Park
Enjoy a morning game viewing in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. The Serengeti plains are host to a dramatic annual migration of 1.3 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of other species indigenous to the area. Return to your lodge for lunch, before departing to Lake Manyara.

Day 4 Depart
After an early breakfast, you will depart for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, elephant, buffalo, monkeys, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. Mid-morning, drive back to Arusha. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Arusha town. We hope you will take back fond memories of your jam packed Tanzania Tour itinerary.
