Itinerary
Day 1 Chobe National Park
Upon arrival at Maun Airport, you will take a light aircraft to Kasane Airport (Approx 1 hour and 10 mins) and your Chobe tented camp. Delight in 2 nights at Chobe Under Canvas in a comfortable and spacious mobile tent (or other as indicated in inclusions above).
Day 2 Chobe National Park
Marvel at the wildlife on your Tour Botswana Holiday on twice daily game viewing activities. Chobe National Park is home to one of the largest concentrations of elephant on the African continent, and is home to the entire Big 5 – rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard and elephant, as well as puku and Chobe bushbuck, only found in Chobe. Pick up some tips while on a photographic safari on the Chobe River.
Day 3 Okavango Delta
Today you will fly to Nxabega airstrip. The camp is located on the edge of the Okavango Delta, with 9 exclusive tented suites. Between game viewing activities, visit the Safari Shop or relax by the swimming pool. Officially declared UNESCO’s 1,000th World Heritage Site
and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, the Okavango Delta is undeniably Botswana’s crown jewel.
Days 4 and 5 Okavango Delta
Experience a mokoro (dugout) canoe through the reeds as you count the multitudes of bird species. Enjoy twice-daily game drives that set off early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Learn about the wonderful array of flora and fauna dotted across the Okavango Delta.
Day 6 Okavango Delta
Transfer to an exclusive tented camp today, Xaranna, in another part of the delta, with 9 exclusive tented suites. Sample the fine cuisine of the camp. Relish the sights and sounds of the delta on your game viewing activities, as you count your favourite species. Cool off in your private plunge pool.
Day 7 Okavango Delta
Walk with the indigenous Bushmen people, glide along a waterway in a mokoro. Have a picnic lunch delivered to your suite after which you will embark on another game drive.
Day 8 Depart
Enjoy a final game drive to the airstrip where a light aircraft will be waiting to fly you, and fellow guests, to Maun Airport.
