This Tour Iguazu Falls and Forests Itinerary will take you to stand in awe of one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. Follow that with an eco-lodge in the middle of the Argentine rainforest for a lesson in conservation. Encounter the abundance of birdlife on your boat or night-time walking excursions in the forest.
Itinerary
Day 1 Buenos Aires
Arrival in Buenos Aires, welcome at the airport and private transfer from Ezeiza International Airport to your hotel for rest and overnight.

Day 2 Buenos Aires
After breakfast, explore Buenos Aires on a half day City Tour. Buenos Aires is a city that combines European style with Latin American spirit. You will discover the city’s characteristics, its history, its architecture, its culture and its best stories. We will visit the center of the city, San Telmo, the brightly colored buildings of La Boca, Puerto Madero and Palermo, with stops in Plaza de Mayo, Caminito and La Recoleta. The afternoon is free for you to spend at your leisure.
In the evening, take in a Tango Dinner Show. Nothing says Buenos Aires quite like the romantic Argentine Tango. International cuisine, regional dishes, desserts and a wide selection of Argentine wines will be offered to accompany the show.

Day 3 Iguazu Falls
In the morning, transfer from the hotel to the airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazu, site of one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. Spanning the border between Argentina and Brazil, there are 275 falls in all, some up to 80 m in height. Upon arrival at Iguazu, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 4 Iguazu Falls
After breakfast, transfer to Iguazú (Iguassu) National Park to tour the Argentine side of the falls. Marvel at the falls from the three main paths – the upper and lower paths as well as the Devil´s Throat. The Upper Walk is 500 mts long and last about 45 minutes, seeing the Two Sisters, Bosseti, Adam and Eve, Bernabe Mendez, Mbiguá and San Martin falls. The Lower Path takes you around 1300 mts of foot-path, lasting 1.5 hrs. It’s a different view in which you will see the falls from the middle, and you might even get a bit wet. Lastly, Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat), we’ll board a little train, to Devils Throat Station. We then walk over a bridge that leads to the balcony of Devil’s throat and the most spectacular view. Option: Great Adventure Boat Ride (not included)

Day 5 Yacutinga Private Reserve
The morning is at your leisure. During the afternoon, continue your Iguazu Falls and Forests adventure as we drive 145 km through Urugua-I Provincial Park and Yerba mate plantations. The landscape combines small towns and forest terrain. You will stay in the Yacutinga Private Reserve in Misiones Rain Forest. After dinner, we will take a walk in the forest. Night hours are ideal for observation of Black-banded Owl, Rusty barred Owl and Mottled Owl, Tropical Screech-Owl, Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl, Semi-collared Nighthawk, Pauraque and Common Potoo.

Day 6 Yacutinga Private Reserve
Arise with the sun for a boat trip along the San Francisco stream, which flows into the reserve. Be sure to have your binoculars and camera so you can discover some of the 320 bird species that are registered in the reserve, including Rufous-thighed Kite, Rusty-margined Guan, White-eyed Parakeet, Reddish-bellied Parakeet, Spot-billed Toucanet, Saffron Toucanet and White-necked Puffbird. Your boat ride lasts almost 3 hours, silently going through the gallery forest area. Return to the lodge for a bit of a rest and lunch.
Take in the facilities of the lodge – swimming pool, observation towers, hanging walkway, and Visitors Center. Interpretative walks, in the afternoon, are conducted by expert guides who will provide information on the various natural environments, their flora and fauna. They will lead you along the different environmental interpretation trails of Yacutinga Natural Reserve. This is an environment highly rich in biodiversity, old-growth trees, medicinal plants, orchids, bromeliads, butterflies, beetles, birds and mammals that combine to provide the key to interpretation and astonish us with a very intense natural contact inside Misiones Forest.

Day 7 Buenos Aires
Explore around the lodge on this last morning before having brunch and the return drive to Iguazu. You will be dropped at the airport for return to Buenos Aires local airport. Upon arrival, at Jorge Newbery Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 8 Buenos Aires
Breakfast and private transfer from to Ezeiza International Airport. This concludes your Iguazu Falls and Forest Tour.
