Mendoza region produces two thirds of the country’s wines where you will explore by vehicle and bicycle. Buenos Aires is a a cosmopolitan metropolis with lovely architecture, history, gourmet cuisine, awesome shopping, and a busy nightlife. Marvel at the famous Iguazu Falls and chill at the sight of Perito Moreno Glacier in El Calafate.
Itinerary
Day 1 Buenos Aires
Arrive at airport at any time today. You will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight stay. Check into the hotel and enjoy the city. Buenos Aires is a top tourist destination, and is known for its European-style architecture, rich cultural life, and is sometimes called the “Paris of South America”.

Day 2 Buenos Aires
After breakfast, explore this cosmopolitan city on a half day city tour. Visit the heart of the city, Plaza de Mayo, become absorbed in La Boca’s brightly coloured walls and buildings and discover Recoleta, with its cafes, museums and famous cemetery. Stop in San Telmo, Puerto Madero, Palermo, and Caminito. The rest of the day is yours to discover why Buenos Aires is the most-visited city in South America.

Day 3 Iguazu Falls
Transfer from the hotel to the airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazu, site of one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. Spanning the border between Argentina and Brazil, there are 275 falls in all, some up to 80 m in height. Upon arrival at Iguazu, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 4 Iguazu Falls
After breakfast, we will transfer you to Iguazú National Park to tour the Argentine side of the falls. Marvel at the falls from the three main paths – the upper and lower paths as well as the Devil´s Throat. The Upper Walk is 500 mts long and last about 45 minutes, seeing the Two Sisters, Bosseti, Adam and Eve, Bernabe Mendez, Mbiguá and San Martin falls. The Lower Path takes you around 1300 mts of foot-path, lasting 1.5 hrs. It’s a different view in which you will see the falls from the middle, and you might even get a bit wet. Lastly, Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat), we’ll board a little train, to Devils Throat Station. We then walk over a bridge that leads to the balcony of Devil’s throat and the most spectacular view. Option: Great Adventure Boat Ride (not included)

Day 5 Buenos Aires
Following breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Buenos Aires. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Beautiful Buenos Aires is a European-like city with lovely architecture, history, gourmet cuisine, awesome shopping, and a busy nightlife.

Day 6 Mendoza
Transfer from the hotel to the airport for a flight to the wine-growing region of Mendoza. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore Mendoza’s plazas and cosmopolitan cafes. Mendoza region produces two thirds of the country’s wines.

Day 7 Mendoza
Depart this morning for a tour to Potrerillos Dam and its beautiful panoramic views, take windy roads to Upsallata valley, close to the high Andes, and then continue to Picheuta bridge, a small replica of the stone bridge General Jose de San Martin’s army built on their way through Uspallata Valley to Chile to fight for Independence from Spain. Then the tour will reach Puenta del Inca, a natural bridge with hotsprings, and finally to Aconcagua National Park. Aconcagua Mountain is the highest mountain in the Western and Southern Hemispheres are 6960 metres (22,837 ft.).

Day 8 Mendoza
Hop on bikes today to continue your Argentina Wine and Ice Tour. Cycle through the principal wine region. We head to the rolling green hills of Chacras de Coria, a small village surrounded by vineyards. We will visit two different wineries and MUCHA (Chacras de Coria museum), where we can see the winemaking process and have a taste of the great results. The rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 9 Buenos Aires
Private transfer to the airport to take your flight to Buenos Aires’ local Jorge Newbery National Airport. Free time to explore this great city.

Day 10 Buenos Aires
The day is at your leisure in Buenos Aires. In the evening, take in a Tango Dinner- Show. Nothing says Buenos Aires quite like the romantic and Argentine Tango. International cuisine, regional dishes, desserts and a wide selection of Argentine wines will be offered to accompany the show.

Day 11 El Calafate
Morning flight to El Calafate, near the famous Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the few advancing glaciers in the world. Upon arrival, private transfer from El Calafate airport to the hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure to discover the charm of El Calafate.

Day 12 El Calafate, Estancia Cristina
Hop on board to navigate our way to Upsala Glacier, Estancia Cristina, Upsala Viewpoint and Museum. Departure is at 08:15 hrs in our modern and comfortable boat. Cruise among icebergs and stunning scenery overlooking the western front of the Upsala glacier and then through Cristina Canal to Estancia Cristina. Enjoy lunch and explore Estancia and area for 6 hours. Include a guided visit to the Costumbrista museum (old shearing shed). Our ascent is in all-terrain vehicles, travelling 9.5 km through mountainous roads. Stop at the Continental ice shelf for a 30 minute walk on the glacier.
Stand in awe of Upsala Glacier, which feeds Perito Moreno Glacier and take in the stunning views of Lake Guillermo, Southern Patagonian Ice and The Andes. Return to the Estancia and board the boat for return to Puerto Banderas and the hotel.

Day 13 El Calafate, Perito Moreno Glacier
This park has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The famous Perito Moreno Glacier is located in the extreme southwest of Lago Argentino, 80 kilometers from El Calafate. It has become one of the great natural spectacles of South America. From time to time, walls of ice fall from the 60 meter tall face into the waters of Brazo Rico. The water slowly makes a tunnel in the glacier until the pressure makes it collapse. This spectacle is indescribable. The waters precipitate in gigantic waves only to start the process all over again. Navigation and trekking tours are available year round to purchase on site. State of paths: completely gravel. Regular tour departs at 9:00am, returning at 5:00pm.

Cathch a flight to Buenos Aires’ local airport and your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to take in last minute sites or shopping.
