Queen Elizabeth Park’s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers swamps, lakes and volcanic craters are home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. So an afternoon game drive game drive provides excellent opportunities for photography. You may possibly view lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, hyena and a variety of bird and antelope species. Proceed for dinner and overnight at your accommodations.

Day 2 Queen Elizabeth National Park
We start the day with an early morning game drive. The vast savannah plains, swamps and forests of Queen Elizabeth are home to about 95 mammal species and over 600 bird species. Look out for lions, leopards, elephants, warthogs, bushbucks, cape buffaloes and waterbucks.  After lunch, transfer to the pier for your afternoon boat-ride on Kazinga Channel. The channel is a thread of water that joins lakes George and Edward. It is a lifeline/habitat to Nile Crocodiles, and arguably the highest concentration of Hippos on the planet. The boat cruise offers an excellent conveyance for game viewing. The prolific bird life is astonishing and includes various species of Egrets, Goliath Herons, and Saddle-billed Storks, African Fish Eagles, Egyptian Gees and Cormorants.

Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Accommodations: Lodge or  safari tented camp

Day 3 Chimp Trek, departure
After breakfast we head off for a guided trek through Kyambura Gorge in search of man’s closest relative, the chimpanzee. The sounds of the chimps carry through the forest very clearly. Therefore, approaching and watching these creatures in their natural habitat is a fantastic wildlife viewing experience. The forest is also famous for other primate species that include black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, L’hoest guenon, vervet monkeys, and baboon. Afterwards, drive onwards to Kampala, through Fort Portal, over hills, down valleys and through tea plantations, arriving early evening.

Meals included: Breakfast and lunch
