Day 1 Quito
You will be met at the airport upon arrival and transferred to your hotel for welcome dinner, briefing and overnight.
Day 2 Quito
A UNESCO Cultural Heritage site, Quito offers it’s visitors magnificent parks, churches and plazas. Today’s tour will take you to a variety of these as well as the equator, known locally as the “Middle of the World”.
Day 3 Riobamba
Head towards the Cotopaxi Volcano, where we’ll experience the beauty of the “Avenue of Volcanoes”. Discover the impressive volcanism, flora and birdlife that this National Park protects.
Day 4 Cuenca
Depart for Alausí, where we’ll board the train for an excursion to the “Devil’s Nose”, a geographical formation that has led to a zigzagging rail tracks perched on the Andean cliffs. Visit Ingapirca, the best preserved Inca Site in Ecuador.
Day 5 Cuenca
Stroll through the cobbled streets of this beautiful World Cultural Heritage city. Squares, churches, and traditional costumes fill the streets. Walk along a river for a panoramic view, then visit a museum.
Day 6 Quito
Today we’ll head eastwards to San Bartolo, world know for the handcrafted production of guitars, continue to Chordeleg and Gualaceo for markets, an orchid farm and the “ikat” weaving workshops. Catch flight to Quito in the afternoon.
Day 7 Papallacta Thermal Springs and Quito
At 3000 m, are the natural hot springs of Papallacta, originating from Antisana Volcano. Enjoy the thermo-ludic area and choose from a variety of optional treatments offered at the spa.
Day 8 Depart
Transfer to the airport for continuation to Galapagos or other destinations.
