You can spot a Kenya jackal occasionally, sometimes in pairs, but not on every game drive. With their characteristic long, slender legs and pointed ears, they stand about 40 cm (16 inches) tall. Powerful jaws assist them in preying on rodents and other small animals as well as carrion.
