out in search of the Big Five at the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve or Ngala Private Game Reserve. Both reserves share unfenced borders with renowned Kruger National Park. Relish in the wealth of wildlife. Phinda is known for its abundant wildlife, diversity of habitats and wide range of activities. Cape Town is widely described as one of the world’s most beautiful cities. It nestles in a natural bowl between the vast Atlantic Ocean and the city’s picturesque Table Mountain. The city is a combination of historical coastal charm and urbane sophistication.
Day 1 Johannesburg
On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport you will be met and escorted to your hotel, which is conveniently located at the airport. Relax at the hotel with a swim or a workout in their gym.

Days 2 & 3 Kambaku Game Reserve
After breakfast, walk across to OR Tambo International Airport and proceed onto a light aircraft flight to Hoedsprut. Explore and unwind during your 2 night stay at Kambaku Safari Lodge, an exclusive yet affordable lodge. The grounds here are fully fenced for your safety. Your stay includes two game drives per day, hide, and bush walks.

Days 4 & 5 Phinda Private Game Reserve
Transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (3 Hours) for your flight to Phinda Private Game Reserve. Known for its abundant wildlife, keep your eyes open for black rhino. Thanks to its coastal rainfall pattern, the reserve enjoys a lush green environment that contains seven distinct ecosystems.
Adventures include twice-daily game drives in open 4×4 safari vehicles, nature walks, and excellent bird watching. Unwind in the lodge’s sparkling rim-flow swimming pool, or relax in the guest sitting areas with expansive viewing decks. Optional Phinda adventures, available at an additional cost, include scenic coastal flights, beach excursions including snorkeling and scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, turtle viewing (season Nov/Dec/Jan) and cultural visits. Specialist Safaris at Phinda (also at an additional cost) are Birding Safaris, Bush Skills Academy, Leopard Research, Rhino Capture and Research and the renowned Seven Wonders in Seven Days.
If you are travelling between November and February, then be sure to venture out to Sodwana Bay one evening to witness loggerhead and leatherback turtles laying their eggs on the beach.

Days 6 & 7 Cape Town
Catch a light aircraft to King Shaka International Airport. On arrival, board a scheduled domestic SA Airlink flight to Cape Town. A member of the team will be waiting at Cape Town International Airport to drive you to your hotel. Your stay includes breakfast and the rest of your time is yours to explore this vibrant city.
With Table Mountain at its heart and two oceans at its feet, the city of Cape Town has been famed for centuries as the Tavern of the Seas. The city us vibrant, cosmopolitan and an eclectic mix of old and new. It is home to South Africa’s first Mosque, oldest wine farm, a 350 year-old garden and timelessly beautiful beaches. Therefore, it is no surprise that the legendary Flying Dutchman and his spectral ship have spent eternity sailing the city’s shores.
A large veranda with stunning views is an idyllic relaxation spot. Additionally, a sparkling swimming pool provides a cool refuge on hot summer days. Acorn House is closely located to the surrounding beaches. The popular V&A Waterfront and the bustling city centre allow guests to easily explore the wonderful attractions of Cape Town.
You may wish to take a cable car to the top of iconic Table Mountain and marvel at the magnificent views from its flat top. Browse vibrant Greenmarket Square, one of the city’s oldest markets, and walk through Company Garden, established by Dutch settlers in 1652. Visit the traditional Malay Quarter, with it brightly coloured houses, and indulge in a glimpse into one of the city’s vibrant cultures.
Optionally, if you prefer to explore the Winelands in a truly unique style, travel to one of the country’s premier wine estate by helicopter. After tasting some of the Cape’s famous vintages, you can choose to return to Cape Town on the back of a vintage motorcycle, drinking in magnificent views of the coastline.
