Itinerary
Day 1 Ngala Private Game Reserve, South Africa
Meet at OR Tambo International Airport and catch a short flight to Ngala airstrip. Ngala Private Game Reserve shares an unfenced boundary with the world-renowned Kruger National Park, South Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuary and one of the biggest nature reserves in the world, encompassing 2 million hectares of wilderness.

Days 2 and 3 Ngala Private Game Reserve
Ngala offers sensational Big Five game viewing. With more open bush than the nearby Sabi Sand Reserve, Ngala guarantees exclusive game viewing opportunities guided by expertly trained rangers.
Spend three nights at Ngala Safari Lodge. Activities include twice-daily game drives (including spotlit night drives) in open 4×4 safari vehicles with expert guides and Shangaan trackers to ensure best wildlife viewing. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, scheduled safari activities, refreshments on game drives, nature walks (1 hour) accompanied by experienced armed trackers (subject to availability) and laundry.

Day 4 Benguerra Island, Mozambique
Transfer back to the airport for onward flight to Vilanculos International Airport in Mozambique, followed by a helicopter transfer to Benguerra Island. The island forms part of the Bazaruto National Park. This stunning island retreat is set in a verdant forest, surrounded by pristine beaches and swaying palm trees. Benguerra offers opportunities to witness a slice of the very best of Mozambique’s exceptional marine life and experience an abundance of island adventures. Characterized by its towering sand dunes, inland lakes and idyllic beaches, Benguerra was declared a National Park in 1971. It is home to over 140 bird species and the pristine waters surrounding the island, as well as the exceptional archipelago, are home to the rare dugong and one of the most pristine coral reefs in the world.

Days 5 and 6 Benguerra Island
An inviting swimming pool offers a cool refuge from the balmy weather. Shaded by coconut palms, a colourful beach bar is the perfect setting to admire the sunset while sipping on exotic cocktails. Adventures include sunset dhow cruises, kayaking, snorkeling, village visits, picnics and island walks. Optional excursions include excellent scuba diving on off-shore reefs, horse riding, and deep-sea fishing.

Day 7 Depart
Following breakfast, we wave a fond farewell as you board on a helicopter for your flight to Vilanculos International Airport and transfer to a flight back to Johannesburg.
